How to Download Application Log Files for zapAnalytics Support
The application.log file is located in the zapAnalytics installation folder. It contains important information about the startup and operation of the software and is required by your Customer Success Manager for effective support.
Note that these log files are separate from project or detailed log files created during data extraction and processing.
Download the Application Log File from the Installation Folder
The application log files may be requested by your Customer Success Manager if you experience issues with zapAnalytics.
- Navigate to your zapAnalytics installation directory on your computer or server.
- In the main directory, you will finde the file named application.log.
Download the Application Log File directly from zapAnalytics Interface
If you have access to the software and are logged in:
- Go to Settings within zapAnalytics.
- Download the application log file directly from the interface.
If zapAnalytics is not starting properly or cannot be accessed, providing the application.log file will help the Customer Success Manager diagnose and resolve your issue.
